Josh started his summer baseball season in mid-April. We must admit that before the season started we weren't sure if we had an athlete on our hands. When he last played he didn't seem that interested in the game, and didn't have much coordination. A couple of weeks before the season we pulled his T out and dusted it off. He started out with a bang and was hitting every ball square on, even with a plastic bat and ball. We decided to sign him up, and go get him a real bat to practice with. He's done very well every game. We did have a small issue with fielding. He wanted the ball EVERY time it was it hit by the other time, and for a couple of games we had to work with him "sharing" the ball with his teammates. It's been a lot of fun watching him grow as a t-ball player, and watching the excitement on his face.
This is at Opening Ceremonies on April 17. They ran the bases as a team as they were introduced to the crowd.
Josh is anxious and ready for the ball!
Josh's hitting skills!!!!
Even brother wanted a bit of the action....(notice the direction of the helmet)
Did you have a good game Josh?
He was told to put his hands out to shake with the other team!!!!
