Josh had his last soccer game last Saturday! I think we learned that organized sports just aren't for 3 year olds. He had a lot of fun, but he just wasn't into actually going for the ball. He had way more fun just running around, and it looked like that is how most of the younger ones in the league were. He did very well when it was his turn to kick the ball, and loved running the goals before the game started to warm-up, but during the game, he didn't care at all about the ball. It was a lot of fun watching him run around. Isn't that what parenting is all about!!!!! In the last game, there was a little girl that fell down and got hurt. While everyone else was going after the soccer ball, our little compassionate Josh, went over to make sure she was okay. You could hear him from the sidelines saying "Are you okay?". It was so sweet!!! You can also see that he really enjoyed it when he wasn't on the field. He was able to sit on the ball and talk to his friends. Josh received a trophy for playing soccer! The trophy was on the mantle for a few days for display!

Glad Josh had fun playing soccer - even if it wasn't the soccer part that was fun!
Hope we'll get to see him running around the soccer field sometime soon!
