We went out to Lone Star Park for the 4th of July! They had activities for kids such as bounce houses, petting zoos, and pony rides. Josh is beginning to branch out in his activities. Just a few months ago, he would not have riden the pony, and he also would not have gone down the big bounce house slide. He had lots of fun doing both this evening! Nathan must have been a little worn out by the heat because he just wasn't into doing much. As you can see, he did decide to feed the goat. This also was the first year that Josh watched the fireworks. In the past, he's been very scared by the loud pop that they make. Somehow, we ended up by a speaker that was blarring your typical patriotic Fourth of July music, and he couldn't hear the loud pops. He really enjoyed watching them and told us how colorful they were. Nathan only enjoyed them for a few minutes, and then decided it was time to sit with Daddy.
