Okay, so it's been weeks since I've posted anything on our blog, so I thought I'd go right ahead and finish up our 2008 blogging with Christmas pics. I'll just post them all at one rather than different blogs since I can't keep up these days.
When all of the Christmas stuff was taken out of the attic, we had to wait to get the stocking hung because they have to hang on temporary hooks instead of our stocking holders in fear that our children will pull them down onto their heads. Josh decided he should try the stockings on. Don't they fit nicely???
You might think the next picture is a picture of Josh with a new Christmas Present that he was enjoying and not sharing with his brother. Well, it's not. That guitar was Josh's reward for using the potty 7 days in a row. It took us a few days to get him to use the potty, but once he realized he could do it, it's been easy sailing. We almost never have an accident, and we stay dry all night wearing big boy undies to bed. We are now having great success at pooping on the potty as well. 
We went to Northpark to see the trains with "All The Griffiths" We had a lot of fun, and even the Daddy's got to wear the hats.
Making Gingerbread Men...this is a tradition we started last year. The boys help make the cookies and cut them, and then everyone in the house has to decorate one to either eat or display. Josh kept up the tradition of shoving as many M&M's in his mouth as he can. He also started that last year. It looks like brother might be following that tradition as well. Both boys decided not to display their gingerbread men, but to eat them.

Of course, there is the annual Adolphus Children's Parade. Mommy has been volunteering at this parade for 3 years now. She works at City Hall, and we all get there early and get some amazing seats for viewing the parade. This year we saw Spiderman, The Dallas Stars, and of course, Santa Clause up close. Nathan said "I see Santa". Josh didn't really worry too much about the characters, he just wanted to see the Bands. Everytime a band would come, he would unwrap himself from the blanket and stand up so he could see them and hear them better. It was a little colder this year than in the years past, but we still had fun.

That is the end to our Christmas Fun! We had a great year and spent Christmas with family, first going to Nu Nu's and PawPaw's and getting to play. We we got home, All the Griffiths were there, and we had a great celebration with them as well. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Season and are starting the New Year off with a great start!
