We celebrated Josh and Nathan's birthdays together this year with a party right in the middle on May 30th. It was a CIRCUS, literally! We send popcorn bag invitations, borrowed a popcorn machine, had a circus tent (homemade by mommy and daddy), brought in a clown, played games (or just got wet), and had circus and clowns with balloons cakes! Complete with cotton candy as a party favor! Here are a few pictures from the event!

Josh and Nathan received a battery operated Hummer once all the guest had left. We didn't want them running over everyone. Surprisingly, Josh is a great driver, just like his daddy!

This was mommy's idea of a circus tent cake! As you can see it's a little lopsided, but BOY WAS IT GOOD!

The ticket counter and popcorn machine!

"The Griffith Circus Tent"

"Happy Birthday to you" We couldn't touch these until it was time to eat them! Well, Josh actually had a lick of one of the red ones before they made it outside!

Nathan watching the "circus"!

"Zippy the Clown", a friend from Bible Study, who came to be the entertainment for the party and did a wonderful job. The kids loved it!

The kids all watching "zippy" perform!

Josh got a scooter from his NuNu, and he wouldn't get off of it for the 1st hour of his party!

The party looked so cute! Good job girl. Miss you already. Having coffee with Pam tonight. Don't be mad! ;)
Hey, I thought it was one of the most creative kid's birthday parties I had ever seen! I recognize someone in those photos, too!
