Our Cowboy

Howdy Everyone!!! For those of you that don't know, Josh has started a new preschool. It was a decision we made based on his future. We would really like for him to go to a private kindergarten program, and his new school offers that. We had made the decision that he would begin going there next year for their Pre-K, until I found out there was an opening in their 3 year old program now. So, we began debating what the best thing to do was. Now, he has been in a Mother's Day Out program for the past two years. This is not a MDO program. This is more of a preschool atmosphere with curriculum based teaching. Their only opening was on Mon and Wed. So, this meant our schedule and routine was about to be rocked. Oh, and not to mention that this new school is at the First Methodist Church in TERRELL! But, we felt this was the best thing to do in order to make sure he got into the 4 year old program next year. He is loving Mrs. Lewis, and has talked about new school for the past two weeks. He was eating breakfast this morning and got so excited and said "I'm going to my new school this morning", but I had to tell him it wasn't a school day. He does still get to see his friends from his MDO school because he goes with me when I teach tumbling and dance.
These pictures are from his Texas Hoe Down. They just studied a unit on Texas for two weeks and at the end they did a Hoe Down including 5-6 songs about TX they learned during the unit. We are really excited about Josh's new school and are looking forward to seeing him grow and learn through it.
