Daddy got a day off of work, so we took advantage of it and went to the State Fair. It was great weather, although not sunny, the temperature was nice, a little cool at first, but nice. We stopped to see Big Tex, and he started talking. Both boys' eyes got really big and they just watched him move and talk. Josh kept asking as we were walking away if the big man was going to talk again. You can tell that we all thoroughly enjoyed a corn dog. We started out with only 3 thinking one of us or all of us could share a little with Nathan. Oh No, that wasn't happening. He wanted his own corn dog to hold on to the stick and eat it himself, and as you can see, he did a fine job finishing it off. Josh got to ride the motorcycles. Daddy thought he would get scared, but he loved it the first 2-3 rounds, and then it got a little boring. He finally found the horn, and honked that the rest of the ride. We all go to ride the carousel. Well, the boys rode the horses and Mommy and Daddy got to hold them on. Josh and Nathan got to feed the animals in the Children's Barnyard area. Whenever Josh would go in to pet the animals, he would just touch it once and then move it, like that was enough for him. While walking around we found a few of our favorites, the marienette puppets and the wiggleracer. Mommy has wanted to buy Josh a wiggleracer for a few months now, but we just haven't done it because we don't have a lot of room to ride it. But, at the fair, there was a whole section where you could play on the wiggleracer, and it looks like we now need to buy 3! AWWW, then there was the ride home. This picture was taken about 5 minutes after we got in the car. They were wore out from all the fun!

Okay, the photo of them passed out in the carseats is priceless! That's how I felt after leaving the fair too! Looks like you had a wonderful day.
Wow! It sure looks like the whole family has gone a lot and had loads of fun and new experiences in the past few weeks. It has been good to see some up close face views of you, Nathan. You looks a lot older now. We can hardly wait to see you in Houston in just a few weeks!!
Loves and kisses from Granddaddy and Gramma
